Auth (Authentication) in the DigiTax dashboard can be done via:

Head over to the sign-up page, https://digitax.tech/sign-up, to get started.

Enter your First name, Last name, email and password, then click Continue.

Note: You cannot create an account using an existing account's email address. You also get prompted if your password is weak.

You are redirected to a page accepting a six-digit verification code.

A six-digit code is sent to your email for verification. Copy this code and paste it on the earlier page to sign up.

Note: If you don't see an email (in your inbox), refer to the Missing Email code support doc.

You are logged in.

Social Auth options are either Google or Microsoft. You can sign up and later log in using either option.

The Social Auth option is available for you to make it convenient and secure if you or your organization uses Gmail (or Google Workspace) OR Microsoft Personal (or Business plans).

From the signup screen, click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft to proceed.

This applies if you already signed up with social auth or added a social account later from the accounts management.

From the log in screen, https://digitax.tech/sign-in, click Continue with Google or Continue with Microsoft to proceed.

If you click Continue with Google, you'll be redirected to a Google Account log-in screen.

The very first time you're signing up, the screen will specify the permissions DigiTax Dashboard is requesting. Accept those to continue.

Such a screen as shown below will redirect you back to the DigiTax Dashboard, logging you in.

If you click Continue with Microsoft, you'll be redirected to a Microsoft Account log-in screen.

The sign-in page, https://digitax.tech/sign-in, is similar to the screenshot below.

Enter the email and click Continue.

Enter the password and click Continue.

If you enter the correct email and password combination, you'll be logged in.

Alternatively, from the sign-in page, after entering your email and clicking Continue,

you can click Use another method.

Here, you have the option to use Social Auth (discussed above) or use a verification code sent to your email.

Clicking Email code to ... will open a page prompting you to enter the verification code sent to your email.

Entering this code will log you in.

Expect an empty dashboard when you log in, your very first time.

Unless, someone already shared access, to their organization and app(s), with your account.

You can now create an organization and business.
